APRIL

2 April - Sofiero opens for the season
Sofiero opens its gates for a new season, with 2010 portraying the spirit of romance. The Orangery is transformed into a “temple of love” where couples can tie the nuptial knot. Tens of thousands of spring bulbs blossom in the park and Anette Kozica, glass artist, exhibits her art in the Palace.

17 April – Maja opens her garden
Maja’s garden for the children opens for the season. Lots for little green fingers to occupy themselves with.

MAY

The Palace Shop
Seasong opening in the Palace Shop! Discover the new range of products and gifts. Open daily 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

16 Maj - SofieroClassic
Buggies, bikes and blooms throughout the whole park! SofieroClassic is one of the best car and motorbike shows in Sweden, with vehicles from past to present.

21-23 May - Sofiero Trophy
International orchid exhibition.

23 May – Maja’s party
Visit Maja in her garden and find out more about flowers and plants.

29-30 May – Rhododendron days
Ten thousand rhododendrons in all their glory, with the park and gullies exploding in a frenzy of colour! Take the chance to find out more about these fantastic shrubs from leading experts.

JUNE

12 Juni - Mark Knopfler
Concert in association with The Tivoli.

19 June – Wedding picnic
Watch the Royal Wedding at Sofiero! The wedding is broadcast on big screens in front of the Palace. Bring along a picnic basket and watch Crown Princess Victoria saying “I do” to her Daniel.

JULY

13-15 July – Native Americans and Totem poles
Children can learn all about Native Americans around Sofiero’s own totem pole.

20-22 July – Sing along with Maja
Rhymes, songs and games about plants, animals and flowers. Maja is here to lead the singing.

27-29 July – Princes, princesses and weddings
Story telling for children in association with Helsingborg’s library.

AUGUST

27-29 August – The Garden Festival
The gardening event of the year, for gardeners and non-gardeners alike. Come and get the latest gardening ideas, the best inspiration, and tips from the experts. The Garden Festival means three days full of everything related to the green life!

SEPTEMBER

September 11th: Closed
Sofiero is today closed due to preparations for the coming weekend.

September 11th-12th: Dog Show
The South Swedish Kennel Club's international dog show. The Palace and exhibitions are closed. Hosted by Sydsvenska Kennelklubben.

NOVEMBER

6-7 November Festival of Light
A beautiful, peaceful experience. The gullies light up magically in the winter evening. The Palace, outside and in, is decked with light.
